It was a trip to Kapalai, Malaysia 🇲🇾 We explored one of the most stunning overwater resorts and crystal-clear waters we’ve ever seen🌊 Kapalai isn’t a traditional island 🏝️ it’s a sandbank with an incredible resort built entirely on stilts above the turquoise sea. ⏰ The best time to visit is from April to September, when the weather is perfect for diving, snorkeling, and photography. 📸 📍Kapalai Island, Sabah, Malaysia One of our favorite experiences was snorkeling right off the deck of our water villa🐠 The marine life was absolutely breathtaking, we spotted sea turtles, colorful coral 🪸 and even reef sharks! I would highly recommend bringing an underwater camera to capture the beauty beneath the waves 🤿 📍Kapalai Dive Resort, Semporna, Sabah, Malaysia For the best panoramic views, we explored the wooden boardwalks at sunrise and sunset 🙌 The golden light reflecting off the water, combined with the endless horizon, made for the most magical photos ✨ We visited in the evening, and the sky turned shades of pink and purple, it was truly unforgettable. 💜 📍Sunset Deck, Kapalai Island, Sabah, Malaysia If you’re planning a quick getaway to Kapalai, I’d recommend staying at least one night to fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and incredible marine life 🙌🙌🙌 #kapalai #vacation #travel
