It was a weekend trip to Kapalai, Malaysia 🇲🇾 We recently visited Kapalai, and it was truly a tropical paradise🐠 This stunning island, located near Sipadan, offers crystal-clear waters, vibrant marine life, and incredible photo opportunities 📸 We arrived at Kapalai Dive Resort, the only accommodation on the island 🏝️ and were immediately amazed by the floating wooden 🪵 chalets built over the turquoise waters🏡The best time to take photos here is in the morning ⛅️ when the sun rises over the horizon, casting a soft golden glow on the ocean. It’s also magical at sunset! 🌅 📍Kapalai Dive Resort, Pulau Sipadan-Kapalai, Sabah, Malaysia We explored the underwater world and were mesmerized by the colorful marine life 🤿Snorkeling around Kapalai is fantastic, with clear visibility and vibrant coral 🪸 The best time for underwater photography is between 10 AM and 2 PM ☀️ when the sunlight penetrates the water, making the colors pop. 📍Kapalai Reef, off the coast of Semporna, Sabah, Malaysia One of the most breathtaking spots we visited was the Kapalai Sandbank, which appears only at low tide🏝️As the sun sets, the sky turns into shades of pink, purple, and orange, an absolute dream for photographers 📸 Arrive around 5:30 PM to catch the golden hour and stay until twilight for the best shots ✨ 📍Sandbank near Kapalai Dive Resort, Sabah, Malaysia We highly recommend waking up early for a morning walk along the wooden boardwalks🚶♂️With the stillness of the water and the soft morning light ✨ it’s the perfect time for serene and picturesque shots.
