๐ Seosan Haemi-eupseong_"Healing in a neat hanok and nature" This summer, I happened to go to Seosan Haemi, and since I happened to pass by Haemi-eupseong, I ended up visiting 'Haemi-eupseong' for the first time in a long time! Maybe because the weather was so nice, there were a lot of families traveling! I think the simple and neat hanoks located throughout Haemi-eupseong were particularly memorable! :-) And Haemi-eupseong is said to be the filming location for the drama "Mr. Sunshine", so it might be fun to try to find the places that appeared in the drama! [ ๐ณA place with a huge, lonely tree, Haemi-eupseong ] I visited Haemi-eupseong in Seosan!ใฐ๏ธใฐ๏ธ Haemi-eupseong is a stone fortress from the Joseon Dynasty located in Seosan Eupnae-ri, and is Historic Site No. 116. It is a place where Catholic believers were tortured during the Byeongin Persecution in 1866, and a stone monument remains outside the West Gate as a martyrdom monument. Because of this historical fact, Pope Francis visited Haemi-eupseong and Haemi Martyrdom Shrine in 2014. Haemi-eupseong is very large, so it is a good place to walk slowly. When you enter through Jinnammun, you will see a large tree like this, and I took a pretty picture of it. Maybe it was because the weather was warm, but many people were enjoying a walk. It is the perfect place to visit on a warm spring day like today!!
