Dongdaemun is the center of eastern Hanyang, overseeing the Dongmyo and Changsin Bomun areas of Seouldoseong. Heunginjimun Park is built on a considerable hill, so you have to climb a mountain to see the fortress. Let's start. ------- Boundaries and divisions of Hinyangdoseong The Hanyangdoseong that existed during the Joseon Dynasty originally passed through five districts of Seoul (Jongno, Dongdaemun, Seodaemun, Seongbuk-gu, Jung-gu) and was approximately 18km long. It was built around the palaces of Gyeongbokgung and Gyeonghuigung, and surrounded mountains such as Inwang Baekak and Naksan. Currently, Naksan (Heunginjimun), part of Seodaemun, and part of Inwangsan remain, but not all of them remain. And Hanyangdoseong is commonly divided into four major gates and four minor gates.
