Seoul Travel๏ฝœMust-visit in Autumn๏ฝœSungkyunkwan University Myeonglun Hall๐Ÿโœจ

Red maple leaves, pink silvergrass and ginkgo trees are undoubtedly the shining pearls of Korean travel. Every city has countless enchanting natural scenery and quaint and elegant Korean houses that make people linger and be reluctant to leave. Today, I have the honor of introducing you to a great place to view ginkgo trees in Seoulโ€”Myeongyeondang at Sungkyunkwan University. The trees here are probably more than 400 years old and were designated as Natural Monument No. 59 in 1962. The fan-shaped ginkgo leaves gradually turn from emerald green to golden yellow since the beginning of autumn. Whenever the wind blows, the falling leaves look like golden carpets. Visitors can stroll along the "Golden Avenue" and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Myeongryundang is a sacred place where Confucian scholars of the Joseon Dynasty studied Confucianism. The ginkgo trees around it are planted according to Confucian traditions. Every autumn, the golden ginkgo leaves and the quaint Korean houses complement each other, and the weight of history and the magnificence of nature blend perfectly here. Strolling beside this centuries-old auditorium and stepping on the golden ginkgo avenue, you can seem to hear the echoes of history, making you feel as if you have traveled back to the Joseon period and experienced the Korean style of that time. #Japanese and Korean urban hotels
