Travel Back to the Joseon Dynasty at Gyeongbokgung Palace

Gyeongbokgung Palace hosts a guard-changing ceremony every day at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The ceremony lasts about 15 minutes and does not require an admission ticket, offering a glimpse into the guard-changing rituals of the Joseon era. The interior of Gyeongbokgung Palace is also worth exploring. The scenery is stunning, and there are plenty of picturesque spots for photos, though it can get quite crowded. The palace isn't very large, so setting aside one to two hours should suffice. After touring Gyeongbokgung Palace, you can exit through the North Gate, where you'll find the Blue House (Cheong Wa Dae) just across the street. If you have time, it's worth a visit. The Blue House only opened to the public in 2022, offering a rare opportunity to see where the President of South Korea works.
