Super Delicious Korean Beef for Self-Grilling

When in Korea, you must try Korean beef! 🐮🐮 Before I left, my colleague told me that Korean beef is even better than Wagyu, so I definitely couldn't miss out 😚. Naturally, I had to find some to eat. Although there are many Korean BBQ restaurants in downtown areas like Myeongdong🔥, where you can also find Wagyu, nothing beats the joy of picking your own meat here😍! Even though this place isn't a tourist spot, many food lovers still find their way here. Just walk about ten minutes from Majang Station🕑, and you'll see the entrance with an animal head sign. There are many different meat shops inside, but maybe because of the bad weather⛈️ or because it was late🌃, only a few shops at the ends of the street were open. We chose a shop that didn't have too many red lights🚨, and the staff brought out the meat for us to inspect under normal lighting. We like tender meat🥩, so we picked a pack of sirloin and a pack of thigh meat, costing about HKD 500🤑. After buying the meat, the staff directed us to a restaurant upstairs for grilling🍽. We thought it would be quiet since there weren't many people downstairs, but it was packed upstairs🫨! You just need to pay a small fee for the grill, and you can order other food as you like. Since we were continuously eating and not very hungry, we only ordered a bowl of rice🍚, and the total bill was about HKD 100💸. Korean beef seems to have less fat, and after grilling, it was tender and flavorful😋. Among the meats we chose, the thigh meat was chewier with a tendon in the middle, but overall, it tasted great👍👍.
