Seoul Special Forces One-Day Tour: Conquer the Core Attractions and Two Shows

A packed one-day trip in Seoul, mainly covering Bukchon - Blue House - Gyeongbokgung Palace - Seochon - Graffiti & Nanta Show. This route is especially suitable for those staying in Myeongdong. Except for taking the bus to Bukchon in the morning, the entire journey can be done on foot. 1 - Bukchon. Start at Bukchon in the morning when it's relatively less crowded. Strolling through Bukchon when it's quiet is quite pleasant. There's a cookie shop with a small courtyard on the second floor, offering a glimpse of traditional Hanok courtyard layouts—great for photos. 2 - Blue House. After Bukchon, head down to Samcheong-dong Road. After a short walk, you'll reach the back gate of the Blue House. Show your passport to enter and explore. The Blue House grounds are incredibly serene, with lush green lawns. 3 - Gyeongbokgung Palace. Exit through the front gate of the Blue House, and you'll face the back gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Pay 3,000 KRW with a credit card to enter. Wearing a Hanbok grants you free admission. 4 - Seochon. Compared to Bukchon, Seochon is more down-to-earth, with plenty of shops, eateries, and cafes, including the top-ranked ginseng chicken soup. Cafes are everywhere! I visited an old bookstore café, where the grandmother warmly asked if I was ARMY and invited me to take photos. Turns out, this might be a spot recommended by BTS's RM. 5 - Painters Show, a visual feast—highly recommended! A short walk south of Seochon (about 1 km) leads to the Painters Show. It's a stunning blend of painting, comedy, and dance! They paint with water, sand, light, charcoal... you name it! Lucky audience members seated near the stage might even get interactive gifts. 6 - NANTA Show, an auditory feast—also highly recommended! It can get a bit noisy. After Painters, it's 1.5 km to the NANTA Show in Myeongdong. Along the way, you'll pass Deoksugung Palace, worth a quick visit. NANTA is a comedic cooking-themed percussion performance. The finale drumming is epic, especially the female performer! 7 - Return to Myeongdong. After NANTA ends around 9 PM, you'll step right into the night market. Grab a bite before heading back.
