Yanzi Academy, located in Jiukeshu Art Park in Fengxian New Town, covers an area of ​​21,139 square meters and has a total construction area of ​​5,519 square meters. As an important part of the two wings of Fengxian Museum, Yanzi Academy is a cultural exhibition building with complex functions. It integrates museum exhibitions, teaching academies and academic exchanges by constructing a spatial sequence including water courtyards, green gardens, literary academies and Xianting. The building is designed with the spatial sequence concept of "Yanzi's Way of Learning" in the Spring and Autumn Period, inheriting Yan Yan's Confucian thought of ritual and governing the country with ritual and emulating the virtuous. As you approach the academy, the spacious entrance square and Yan Zi's sculpture create an inclusive and open space; after passing a section of waterway, the space suddenly becomes clear, as if you have stepped from the urban space into a paradise and a cultural holy land, leading people to embark on Yan Zi's lecture journey; the gardens and winding corridors in the backyard of the building create a scene of changing scenery with every step and the alternation of the four seasons, combining the regional characteristics of Jiangnan with Yan Zi's Confucian culture, creating a literati painting with Jiangnan temperament in the virtual and real space. At present, the building of Yanzi Academy has been completed and is in the stage of internal layout and display. It will be open to the public soon.
