The Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Museum is one of the harder-to-book museums in Shanghai

▪️ It was built between 1925 and the 1930s, originally the residence of Zhou Zongliang, the 'Dye King' of the Shanghai Bund, and later the home of the painter Xu Yuanzhang. ▪️ The museum consists of two buildings and a garden, with one of the old houses open for two floors of visitation. The design features leaded stained glass windows, interior decorations, exterior wall glazed tiles, and mosaic flooring, all in a modernist architectural style. ▪️ There are two sessions each day, morning and afternoon, with only 40 spots available per day, on a first-come, first-served basis.
