Century-old French-style park in the city center - Fuxing Park.

This is a century-old park in Shanghai, commonly known as the French Park, and one of the few European-style parks in Shanghai. During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, it became a French concession. Later, the French Public Affairs Bureau decided to build a park here. It was designed and built by French designers. Initially, Chinese people were not allowed to enter the park. Until the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, it was renamed Fuxing Park and opened to the public, implying national rejuvenation. After the liberation of Shanghai, the name Fuxing Park has been used to this day. Now the park has a rose garden, a sunken flower bed, a rockery waterfall and other landscapes.
