The newly opened Sofitel Shanghai North Bund Hotel|||🙋🏻Because I am a loyal member of Accor, I have stayed in all the hotels under Accor in Shanghai. My favorite hotel before was the Swissotel Hongan. This time I came to check in the Sofitel Shanghai North Bund Hotel which will open in 2024 🍦One sentence review: Worth staying. Good location, great design. Because I have a gold card, I got an upgraded room and a fruit plate, but the service was not up to par (for example, I was not allowed to check in until 15:10, and there was no body lotion in the room, so I had to ask for it separately) 🏛️ A fusion of history and modernity The hotel is located at No. 601 Liyang Road, close to the AAA-level tourist attraction Shanghai Music Valley. The area still has a large number of Shikumen buildings with unique Hongkou characteristics, as well as modern industrial-style cultural exhibition buildings. It is a very representative geographical and cultural landmark in the evolution of Shanghai city. 🎨 Lobby of art and design As you enter the lobby, the first thing that catches your eye is "Sound Source Shanghai", a work of art with its flowing lights and inspiration from oriental bamboo flutes, making you feel as if you can hear the flow of music. Crystal chandeliers, flower vessels, music and delicious food, as well as works of art everywhere, and sunlight shining through large floor-to-ceiling windows make you feel as if you are in the lazy style of southern France. 🛋️ French style in the guest rooms The 30-storey hotel has 288 rooms, 26 suites and 1 presidential suite, continuing the authentic French style. The spacious space, carefully selected art deco elements, and calming turquoise tones allow you to find a quiet place amidst the hustle and bustle. Through the windowsill, you can have a panoramic view of the Bund, Huangpu River and Lujiazui skyline. 🍽️ French journey for your taste buds The hotel has 2 restaurants and lounges. The food in Le Shang Restaurant is diverse and rich. From fresh fruits and vegetables for breakfast to exquisite Western food for dinner, it can meet your food needs throughout the day.
