Learn about our position in space. The "Universe" exhibition area presents the wonders of the universe from five dimensions: time and space, light, gravity, elements, and life. Many interactive exhibits will take you on a journey to explore the evolution and operation of celestial bodies. The "Journey" exhibition area builds a brilliant river of scientific stars, showing the great journey of human exploration of the universe, as well as the beautiful vision of future astronomical development and space exploration, inspiring deep thinking and insight. Shanghai Planetarium has four professional astronomical observation and celestial demonstration devices. The 65 cm adaptive optical solar telescope (EAST) can observe the sun in multiple bands during the day, showing high-definition images of sunspots, prominences, flares, and more. The 1-meter dual-focus telescope (DOT) can show clear images of the moon, planets, and beautiful deep-sky objects at night.
