Tianshan Park was formed by filling a large amount of earth from Fahua Creek, creating an artificial lake shaped like a gourd. The park is ingeniously laid out, with a tranquil environment and features such as mountains, lakes, ponds, and islands. A single-hole stone arch bridge spans the lake, dividing the park into two major areas, north and south. To the south of the park is a lotus pond, a fish-viewing pavilion, and a large lawn to the south of the pond. To the north of the park is Gourd Lake, surrounded by trees, with Bibo Corridor and Huguang Pavilion facing each other across the lake. The northeast of Gourd Lake is a cherry blossom forest, commemorating the friendship between Changning District and Katano City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan.
