Qingxi Country Park

🌟Highlights: In December 2024, after more than half a year of closure for construction, the water forest in Qingxi Country Park reopened to the public. The maintenance work mainly focused on the wooden plank road, which was originally made of wood. In the wetland environment, it was easily damaged by wind and sun over the years. After this maintenance, it was changed to a wood-like structure. ❤Recommended reasons: The "water forest" is located in the ecological conservation area of Qingxi Country Park, covering an area of more than 60 mu. It is mainly composed of water-tolerant tree species such as pond cypress, with water and forest interspersed, and seagulls and egrets flying together, forming a unique landscape in Shanghai. The "water forest" was originally a wetland afforestation project funded by the Shanghai Agricultural Bureau in 1982, with seedlings mainly consisting of pond cypress, bald cypress, and Chinese fir.
