East Meets West: Marco Polo and the Silk Road

I went to the Shanghai Museum to see the special exhibition commemorating the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo's death - "East Meets West: Marco Polo and the Silk Road." The exhibition brings together 204 pieces/sets of museum collections from 28 cultural institutions in Venice, Rome, Florence, and other cities in Italy, comprehensively showcasing the story of cultural exchanges between China and the world during Marco Polo's time. Through Marco Polo's perspective, the exhibition presents the prosperity of the Yuan Dynasty from the 13th to 15th centuries.
