Coffee House in the Rice Fields

Near Chenjia Town in Chongming, on Hewu Highway, there is a coffee house nestled in the rice fields. It is a standalone three-story small house with a delicate little garden outside. The ground floor inside serves as the service counter, while the second and third floors are coffee rooms. The house is cleverly designed with large windows all around, like a widescreen. Sitting by the window, you can enjoy a cup of creamy coffee in your hand and a picturesque rural scene in your eyes. The second floor also has terrace seating. If you feel the indoor space isn’t close enough to nature, you can sit on the terrace and breathe in the fresh countryside air directly. Additionally, the third floor has outdoor seating where you can take in the surroundings and listen to the birds singing and frogs croaking. Right now, the rapeseed flowers are in bloom, creating a scene of facing a sea of flowers and the warmth of spring. Transportation: It’s best to drive yourself, as there is free parking available. If you plan to take the bus, you can board the Nanyu or Baochen line at Chenjia Town, get off at the Sitaihe stop, and then walk about 1800 meters along Hewu Highway to reach the coffee house.
