The infinity pool at Sheshan Oriental Grand Hotel was the most enchanting and nature-filled stop of my journey. Nestled against the Sheshan forest, the pool is surrounded by lush greenery and dancing shadows of trees, making it feel like a secluded sanctuary in the mountains. The water is warm and blends seamlessly with the natural light and greenery, completely breaking away from the urban image of concrete and steel. In the early morning, I gently stepped into the pool, which mirrored the mist and pine forest like a glass surface, making me feel as though I was floating above the clouds. There is no noise here, only the dialogue between the wind, birds, and water. The design philosophy of Sheshan Oriental is truly impressive—not to showcase, but to genuinely integrate with nature.
