🐻 Xiongzhi Bakery (opposite Longhua Temple)

This bakery has incredibly long queues of locals. Even when we went at lunchtime, their best-selling items were already sold out! The shop is decorated in a bear theme. It's a truly local place, not yet mainstream among Thai people, which means it must be really good!! So we bought something to try, and wow, it was delicious. I ate a whole big piece by myself! ☃️ 🐻 Signature Menu Item: Bear-shaped Bread (熊仔面包), the shop's signature item, but it was sold out when we went 😂 I'll definitely try it next time I go back. Instead, we had the crab floss bread, which also had crab roe (26.8 yuan). The bread was soft, fluffy, and delicious, not too sweet. For me, it was just right, not too cloying. If you like whole grain bread, they have many options too. The shop bakes everything fresh from the oven, and the aroma wafts out onto the street. I recommend going before 10 am if you want to try their baked goods before they're all gone.
