Shengzhou Wang Xizhi's Former Residence Tourist Area, themed on calligraphy pilgrimage

Wang Xizhi's Former Residence is located in Jinting Town, 25 km east of Shengzhou City. Surrounded by mountains, the former residence is located in a secluded valley. Wang Xizhi's Former Residence in Jinting is as revered as his birthplace in Linyi and his place of fame in Shaoxing. The series of buildings in Wang Xizhi's Former Residence include Jinting Temple, Calligraphy Sage Hall, Youjun Temple, Xuexi Academy, Drum Pavilion, and Double Pavilion. There are also the Calligraphy Sage's Tomb, Calligraphy Garden, and Calligraphy and Painting Gallery, which are home to a large number of calligraphy treasures. The calligraphy on the plaques and couplets in the scenic area are all written by famous calligraphers such as Shen Peng, Li Duo, and Zhu Guantian.
