The hotel is 300.8 meters high, setting a new height for the Marriott brand, creating a new city skyline, and becoming a popular city landmark. The building was designed by world-renowned designer Adrian Smith, who designed the Burj Khalifa, leading a new era of design concepts and contributing a city landmark to the Shenzhen Bay World Bay Area. Room Experience The room design is super stylish, with natural elements such as fishing nets and fishing gear, weaving crafts, layers of mountains, and simple and elegant lychee flowers used in the hotel design. The room I stayed in was 70 square meters, which is not too big for a suite, but with relatively clever design, the functional areas are reasonably divided, and the movement lines are clear, so it does not feel cramped. The suite has a separate bathroom, and the bathtub is placed by the window, where you can see the beautiful scenery of Shenzhen Bay, which is also one of the most photogenic places in the entire room. Dining and Leisure The hotel has a total of 5 restaurants and bars, from The Caf to Nanshan Kitchen, Man Ho, the Lobby Lounge, and the outsourced Teng Japanese Restaurant, with a super variety of choices. I especially recommend the Lobby Lounge on the 43rd floor, where the window seats are always the most popular during afternoon tea time, with a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of Shenzhen Bay. Service Experience In terms of service, it is really a five-star experience. From the front desk helping to call a taxi, to cleaning, to turndown service, I was super satisfied. Moreover, they are also very friendly to children, and when they saw us with a baby, they enthusiastically gave us children's gifts. Personal Experience Overall, Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Nanshan gives me the feeling that it can meet your needs whether you are on a business trip or a leisure vacation. Although the price is a bit expensive, the experience is definitely worth it.
