Shenzhen's Xianhu Botanical Garden, coupled with the good weather with blue sky and white clouds, is so healing and intoxicating🤭 ⏰Opening hours: 8:00–18:00 🎫Tickets: 15 yuan for adults, 5 yuan for students (book tickets at Xianhu gzh) 🚗Transportation: 1. Metro Line 8, Xianhu Road Station, Exit C2 2. Self-driving navigation "Xianhu Botanical Garden Parking Lot" There are not enough parking spaces in the three-dimensional garden! It is difficult to make an appointment in advance with the Shenzhen Traffic Police even one day in advance. 🫰Recommend the subway: parking is difficult and the parking fee is very expensive. The subway station is very close to the main entrance. ⚠️Attention! Don’t think that Xianhu Botanical Garden is just a botanical garden, it is almost the same as Xianhu National Geopark! It’s so huge that it’s impossible to visit all of it, so I’ve prepared all the check-in points for you. Be sure to save your energy and don’t go to any unimportant places! Navigate directly to every location! (Figure 2 is a roadmap) 【Recommended Tour Route】 After entering the park, take the shuttle bus to Tianshang Renjian (the big lawn, flower sea and Little Switzerland are all referred to here) Tianshang Renjian> Hongfa Temple (super effective)> Podocarpus Garden (there is a lonely tree at the door)> Deng Xiaoping's hand-planted tree> Bonsai Garden (I don't know how to appreciate it, it's up to me)> Cactus and Succulent Garden> Aquatic Garden> Lake Area> Bamboo Garden> Shuttle Bus> Take the shuttle bus back There is nothing to do on the left side of the lake, so there is no need to waste energy 【Attractions】 1⃣️Heaven on Earth, the Shenzhen version of Little Switzerland. Many people don’t believe that this is Shenzhen. The photos here are really great. It is recommended to come here in the morning as there will be a lot of people in the afternoon. 2⃣️ Hongfa Temple is very popular, and many people come to worship Buddha in Hongfa Temple. You can get Sangui incense for free, but you cannot light it. 3⃣️ Podocarpus Garden There are two very special trees on the lawn at the entrance of the Podocarpus Garden, one big and one small. It is easy to take life photos here. The big lawn is perfect for lying down and taking a nap. The 20-minute park rule is true! 4⃣️ Cactus and Succulent Garden The huge cacti and various succulent tropical plants are really unheard of and eye-opening, like being in a tropical desert! 5⃣️ Aquatic Garden: There are large tracts of bald cypress right here, with stone bridges, lake views, plank roads, and egrets. This is the most photogenic corner of the entire park, don’t miss it. 6⃣️Deng Xiaoping planted trees by hand. There are many trees planted by great men around the lake, not just Deng Xiaoping. The tree canopy is really super dense, and you can see the development of history. ⚠️Notes 1. There is no food for sale inside. The water is sold in the self-service vending machines. When I went there, it was sold out. Be sure to prepare in advance. 2. If you want to take nice photos, go there as early as possible.
