New Hotel in Shenzhen: The St. Regis | Weekend Staycation Spot ||| I stayed at the newly opened St. Regis Hotel in Qianhai after the New Year. Here's my honest review: [Location] It's quite close to two shopping malls, about a 10-minute walk. There's also a large square nearby where many people go for morning jogs. [Room] I could see the Ferris wheel 🎡 from the side of my room. I was pleasantly surprised that they provided makeup remover (quite rare for hotels). [Environment] The reception is on the 35th floor. As soon as the elevator doors open, you can see a statue of a female figure. Walking towards check-in, you can see a wide, high-altitude view. It's like walking in the clouds. This hotel also has many art installations, so I expect many people will come to take photos 🤳. [Restaurants] 1️⃣ Steakhouse: Located on the 51st floor, but still under renovation. I took a tour, and it looks great. The popular restroom is also in this restaurant. 2️⃣ Open-air rooftop bar (great night view): It's a bit like the experience of a high-altitude bar in Central, Hong Kong. There's also a Chinese restaurant with private rooms available for reservation. 3️⃣ Yan Ting: The Chinese restaurant on the 34th floor, where breakfast is served during the day. It has a Japanese courtyard style, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area is quite comfortable. On the other side, there are 5 private rooms that can be reserved for gatherings. 4️⃣ The Lobby Lounge: The first photo I posted is of the Lobby Lounge, a place for afternoon tea and coffee. It's not officially open yet, but it has a European architectural style. 5️⃣ The Lobby Bar: I love this one! It has a retro, vintage, old Shanghai vibe. But it's only open at night!! However, it's even more beautiful for photos during the day haha 😆. Overall, it's better to wait a while before visiting this hotel! The experience will be even better then.
