[Gunma, Ikaho Onsen] Fukuichi

Located at the top of the Ikaho Onsen Stone Steps, this is a long-established inn where you can enjoy two types of hot springs, "Golden Bath" and "Silver Bath". From the Japanese modern room where I stayed this time, I could see the amazing autumn leaves. The inn and the stone steps are adjacent to each other, and there is an entrance that allows direct access. The famous "Kagabashi Bridge" is also nearby, making it a very convenient location for sightseeing! For dinner, we had a kaiseki meal made with plenty of local ingredients in a private dining room. Sukiyaki with Joshu beef, dobinmushi with matsutake mushrooms, and more. In the lobby, you can enjoy soft drinks such as coffee and sweets such as walnut yubeshi. The bathroom in the room is a little old, but... I was able to enjoy the hot springs at a leisurely pace, and it was a very satisfying inn.
