Tonkatsuichi @Shimoda [Comfortable service/Very hearty food]

We visited a local restaurant located a four-minute walk from Izukyu-Shimoda Station. When we entered the restaurant, the cheerful owner asked, "Is this your first time here, four people?" He introduced the menu, saying, "If it's your first time, I recommend the mix." After ordering, the food was prepared with friendly and approachable service, with questions like, "You can help yourself to miso soup," and "Would you like to put curry on your rice?" Both the miso soup and curry had a warm taste that reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. The main dishes were surprisingly voluminous, with a wide variety of pork fillet cutlets, minced meat cutlets, crab cream croquettes, fried chicken, and fried shrimp.
