[Shizuoka, Shimoda] All rooms have ocean views! A beach resort hotel with a lovely white building

Shizuoka/Izu ˗ˏˋ Shimoda Prince Hotelˎˊ˗ I stayed at Shimoda Prince Hotel♡ A beach resort hotel designed by Japan's leading architect, Kurokawa Kisho, that opened in 1973🐟 The symmetrical building is said to be inspired by seagulls taking flight🕊️ The white building stands out against the blue sea Right in front of the hotel is a lovely beach with white sand⛱️ 𓈒𓏸𓐍 Shirahama Central Beach𓈒𓏸𓐍 The white sand is volcanic ash and pumice that erupted from an undersea volcano that erupted about 10 to 2 million years ago, and is actually shell fragments that were on the seabed at the time🐚 At night, we enjoyed the night sky on the candlelit deck.
