Chao Naen Dam (the old name of Srinakarin Dam)

Srinakarin Dam is the first multi-purpose dam of the Mae Klong River Basin Development Project. It is located on the Kwai Yai River in Kanchanaburi Province. It is the 8th dam out of 17 that the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) has built to develop the environment and people's livelihoods, as well as to promote it as a beautiful tourist attraction in Kanchanaburi. Most activities include kayaking, jumping into the water 😂, and enjoying the view of the reservoir on a wet raft. Nearby attractions include the Bridge on the River Kwai, the Death Railway, Krasae Cave, Moo Yok Waterfall 😂, Erawan Waterfall, and Huai Khamin Waterfall. There are many more.
