A treat to the senses@National Orchid Garden

Happened to bump into the free admission due to school holidays ! Located within the Singapore National Botanical Gardens, this is a must see in its own right. The orchard garden house a plethora of orchid species, many native to Singapore only. It’s a pretty huge area and it takes about 45 minutes to one hour to walk around and appreciate the whole of the garden. One of the standout parts of the orchid garden are the unique species of orchid that are created for visiting dignitaries such as Obama, fellow Sultans and many more. These are really interesting. There is also a 'Sembcorp Coolhouse' that's worth seeing to. It’s a refreshing and cooling spot after a long walk in botanical garden. The architecture and floral arrangements are very well-thought and gives you a sense of peace and very impressed by the work. Even the cement flooring fits in with the floral theme that has leaves and floral patterns on it!
