Tropical Montane Orchidetum Singapore

#flowerlover The tropical montane orchidetum is the most recent attraction within National Orchid Garden, in Singapore's very own UNESCO heritage site Botanic Gardens. The glasshouses reminds me of a mini version of the domes in Gardens by the Bay, as the interior was kept cool and misty once in a while, great for both humans and plants alike to escape from the sweltering heat. Orchids of various colours, shapes and sizes thrive in these glasshouses. Outside the glasshouses, there are also gardens and trails worth visiting as well such as the Golden Arches, which are a series of arches made of small yellow orchids; perfect for an instagrammable moment too! Admission was free when I went previously; currently it is priced at 5 dollars for adults, 1 dollars for seniors and students, and free for children below 12. Nice alternative part of the Orchid gardens to admire the orchids!
