Perfect place for date night

15 Stanford at Kempinski hotel is one of my favourite date night place with my husband. We used to come here a lot when they used to have the Amex entertainer deal. I’m so glad that the added back to the Amex promotion now! The ambiance here is always nice, very nice hotel and great place for couple and family gathering! They have changed their menu after 2 years, we tried all the items that we have not tried from the menu. We have the apple smoked salmon for our appetiser, the smoked salmon is nice but I’m not a big fan out the sweet mayonnaise dressing with apple strips. The presentation is nice, but I’ll prefer it as it is, but the caper was a nice addition. We had the lamb rack and it was the best of tonight, the lamb was medium rare and it was so tender and juicy, the grilled vegetables at the side was nice as well. The mint jam always goes well with lamb, this is definitely the best of tonight. We were disappointed at the hanger steak and the fried corn ribs. The hanger steak was too raw for us, but the staff was nice enough to help us cook abit longer, but it tasted different after the cook it again. :( the corn rib is way too dry!
