Address - geylang serai Ambiance/Facilities - bazaar in a tent Highlights - Culture walk along malay area of singapore, which is in between paya lebar, geylang and tanjong katong complex. This event usually held during ramadhan which is new year for islam religion people. They did fast for a month before the celebration. People came here to enjoy hari raya (new year) ambience while hunting for shirt, carpet, parfume, something new or nice foods. I came here to see the artistic decorations. There are colourful lighting and fake flowers on top of tent, while pictures and greeting spread on the street. I couldn't figure out what type of fake flowers they used to hang on the tent, but I saw a few of henna stalls which is doing temporary tattoo for this new year celebration. Avg.
