Many people visit for shopping or sightseeing, so it has a touristy atmosphere. The surrounding walking trails are well-maintained, connecting Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay, and the Helix Bridge, making it great for walking. The light & water show (Spectra) that takes place at Marina Bay Sands at night is also a must-see. It is free to watch, and the harmony of music and lighting is so beautiful that many people sit down to watch it. Even if you only look around without staying there, the building itself is impressive, the interior is luxurious, and the surrounding landscaping and night view make it a place you can't miss on your trip to Singapore. It's a place you'll find yourself saying, "I have to see it if I come this far."
