Singapore Travel Review: A Charming City You'll Want to Visit Again!

Hello everyone~ Today, I’m taking you on a trip to Singapore, a small city with big charm and excitement! I recently had the chance to visit and was absolutely impressed. I want to share my full experience with you, from popular attractions to delicious food. Let’s get started! ⸻ Day 1: Arrival at the Extraordinary Changi Airport 🛬✨ Singapore makes a great first impression right from Changi Airport. It’s not just an ordinary airport but a hub of fun and beauty, featuring massive trees, an indoor waterfall, and plenty of Instagram-worthy spots. I strolled around and saw the “Rain Vortex,” the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. It was stunning and refreshing to watch. The airport also has flower gardens, a butterfly garden, restaurants, cafes, and shopping all in one place. I lost track of time exploring. For photography lovers, this is paradise—you must visit! ⸻ Gardens by the Bay: A Dreamy Park Straight Out of the Future 🌿🌸 After settling in, I headed to Gardens by the Bay, a massive park filled with towering “Supertrees.” At night, there’s a spectacular light and music show that’s incredibly romantic. I especially loved the two glass domes: the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest. They house a variety of plants from around the world and even feature a tall artificial waterfall. Walking through felt like stepping into a magical forest. If you love photography, bring your camera because there are endless photo opportunities here! ⸻ Marina Bay Sands: A Dream Hotel with Stunning City Views 📸🌆 I didn’t stay here, but I visited the SkyPark on the rooftop of Marina Bay Sands to enjoy the breathtaking city views. Watching the city bathed in soft evening light was so relaxing. There’s also an infinity pool that looks like it’s floating in the sky, but I only took photos from the balcony since I wasn’t a guest. Still, the experience was amazing. If you’re after stunning cityscape photos, this is a must-visit spot! ⸻ Universal Studios Singapore: A Full Day of Movie-Themed Fun! 🎢🎡 The next day, I went to Universal Studios Singapore on Sentosa Island. The park has various themed zones based on famous movies like Jurassic Park, Transformers, and Shrek. I had so much fun trying all the rides, from thrilling ones to family-friendly attractions. During the day, you can also meet characters roaming around the park. It’s super cute! If you love theme parks, this is a must-visit. It’s so much fun you’ll forget how tired you are. ⸻ Chinatown & Little India: Two Vibrant Cultural Districts 🍜🎉 Another day, I explored Chinatown and Little India, two areas rich in culture and local charm. Chinatown features historic Chinese temples, souvenir shops, and must-try Chinese dishes like roasted duck and traditional desserts. Little India, on the other hand, is a colorful and aromatic haven of Indian spices and cuisine. The temples are beautiful, and the Indian food is bold and flavorful. I enjoyed every bite. Both areas are perfect for photography and food lovers! ⸻ Sentosa Island: A Fun and Relaxing Getaway 🏖️🐠 Sentosa Island is packed with fun activities. I visited Adventure Cove Waterpark, where I enjoyed various water slides. For a more relaxing experience, I stopped by the S.E.A. Aquarium, which felt like diving into an underwater world. In the evening, I watched the Wings of Time show by the sea, featuring lights, sounds, and fireworks. It was so romantic. There are also seaside restaurants where you can unwind. ⸻ Orchard Road: A Shopper’s Paradise 🍰🛍️ On my last day, I went shopping on Orchard Road, Singapore’s main shopping street. It’s lined with famous brand stores, cute cafes, and tempting restaurants. I bought souvenirs and tried Kaya Toast, a delicious snack of toasted bread with butter and kaya (coconut jam). Paired with hot tea, it was heavenly. Walking around here, I noticed how kind and orderly the locals are. It’s a great place to stroll and shop all day without getting bored. ⸻ Final Thoughts 💖 Singapore may be small, but it’s full of charm, cleanliness, modernity, and cultural diversity. The food is delicious, the people are friendly, and there’s something for everyone—whether you’re into relaxing, shopping, or adventure.
