I finally came to the Catullos Cave in Sirmione, the jewel of Lake Garda! 😍 Actually, it wasn't a cave, but a huge Roman villa ruin. It is said to have been built in the late 1st century BC to early 1st century AD. It is said to be the largest Roman villa ruin in northern Italy. The remaining traces, such as the columns, arches, and mosaic floors, seemed to show the splendor of the time. It was also great to walk around the garden full of olive trees.
