Siwa Oasis

It's about an 8 hour drive from Cairo 🚘 I went to the area called Siwa because there is a so-called "Dead Sea". The salt concentration is so high that you float on your own in this salt lake. The ground is covered with salt blocks, and it really hurts to get into the lake if you get water in your eyes, so you have to slowly get in... 🏝️ It feels really strange because you don't sink. I was told that Egyptians love the Siwa Oasis because it purifies the bad things in your body and cleanses your mind. Also, the salt in Siwa is good for purification, so we decided to take it home with us. The guide and the driver packed a bag full of salt and took it home with us 😳 (the driver packed it in three big bags 😂) The only way to get to Siwa is by night bus 💦 I was a little hesitant to get on a night bus with other people, so I asked for a tour with transfer + hotel + sightseeing guide 🥰 #Fritaviwinter #Egypt #siwa #siwaoasis
