#Get a discount without relying on luck 🏞Wat Khao Kao Saen There is a story that there was a city lord named Nai Rang who carried 900,000 baht on a junk to help build a pagoda in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. 🏝During the journey, he encountered strong waves, causing him to miss the ceremony. He ordered his men to carry all the money to the top of the mountain and cut off his own head to guard the treasure on the top of the mountain. This is the origin of the name Wat Kao Saen, but the locals incorrectly called it Wat Kao Seng. ⛰On the top of the mountain, there is a large rock called Hua Nai Rang. Interesting things in the temple include: 🏠 Wihan Phra Phuttha Mae, inside which is enshrined a statue of the Buddha in the birth posture. 🙏A large statue of the Buddha in the Mara-Vijaya posture, named Phra Phuttha Metta, is enshrined in the middle of the temple grounds. 🛕Phra Chedi Khao Kao Seng It is a Sri Lankan-style pagoda made of brick and mortar in the early Rattanakosin art style.
