It's highly recommended to stay at least one night to avoid the crowds of day-trippers and experience the serene mornings and evenings here. Dinan is a medieval town in the Brittany region of France, located along the Rance River. Known for its well-preserved city walls, cobblestone streets, and historic architecture, the town's history dates back to the 11th century when it served as an important military stronghold and trade center. Originally, there was a ferry between Dinard and Saint-Malo, but I found out it only operates starting late March. Jersey Island, a British Crown dependency, pairs perfectly with a trip to Brittany.
