Nature at it's finest

Me and my partner decided to hike to pantai kerachut from penang national park at teluk bahang, the decision we made was to hike to pantai kerachut and return to the origin point by sitting a motor boat which cost around 100 ringgit per boat. To our surprise the forest that we hiked was so peaceful and calm , it was filled with tranquilled noises of birds and forest bugs buzzing .we realised that the 100 ringgit was definitely worth keeping. while reaching on pantai kerachut we stumbled upon a beautiful lake on the left hand side of the entrance and a big blue sea on the right, it was definitely perfect for a picnic after nearly a one hour hike. The sea was clear and blue , the environment was peaceful.There is even a turtle convention centre for us to visit.However do take note that this beach doesn't allow anyone for swimming as it has high tides and have lots of jelly fish around.If u are looking for more of a hectic and swimming beach ,head over to monkey beach which is also another trail that u can hike .Overall this hiking experiencing was definitely worth trying and I do recommend everyone to visit and hike. tips -if ur taking a boat ,do go on a weekend as there are more people u can share the boat fee with unless ur going with a group of friends. -Do bring plenty of water and snacks as the hike might be tiring. - recommend to bring sun screen if ur hiking in the afternoon (especially once u reach the beach) -park opens from 8 am to 5 pm -hike takes about 1.5 hour per mentioned however only took us 1 hour max price entrance fee - rm10(local)/ rm 20 (non local) rm 5 for (local student) motorboat -rm100 per boat parking fee -rm4 (if ur driving a car) #couplestrip #beachlife #hiking
