A Lovely Spring Day at Tulley's Tulip Farm, Hatton

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Tulley’s Tulip Farm in Hatton, and it was truly a vibrant and memorable experience. As soon as we arrived, the colorful blooming tulip fields stretched out before us like a living painting, offering an incredible scenic backdrop perfect for photography enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Getting there was a bit of an adventure — from Hatton Station, it’s about a 25-minute walk to reach the farm. While the stroll was manageable, it might feel a little long if you're carrying heavy bags or visiting with small children. However, if you have the option to drive, the journey becomes a lot easier with plenty of parking available. Since it was a Saturday, the ticket cost was £18.70 per person. Personally, I felt this was a little on the expensive side for the experience; ideally, the ticket price should be within £10 maximum to feel better value for money. Once at the farm, we discovered a handful of food stalls offering a variety of snacks and drinks. Interestingly, many visitors had also brought their own food, creating a relaxed, picnic-like atmosphere. We had packed our own lunch too and thoroughly enjoyed sitting down amidst the fields, soaking in the fresh air and sunshine while we ate. There were plenty of seating areas available, making it an inviting place for families and groups to unwind. One of the highlights was the numerous photo booths and picturesque spots set up across the farm, perfect for capturing lovely memories among the tulips. Additionally, there was a charming little shop where you could purchase souvenirs and even create your own custom flower bouquet — a delightful way to take a piece of the farm's beauty home with you. After exploring the farm, we took a short 2-minute walk over to Hatton Shopping Village. This spot was a pleasant surprise! It's a fantastic place for families, especially if you're visiting with kids. Garden enthusiasts would be particularly delighted, as the village is filled with wonderful gardening items, small fountains, flowers, and many other charming accessories to enhance any garden. Overall, Tulley’s Tulip Farm and the nearby Hatton Shopping Village together make for a perfect springtime outing — whether you’re a keen gardener, a photography lover, or simply someone looking for a peaceful day out amidst nature. Just be prepared for the ticket price if you visit on a weekend — and don't forget your camera, a picnic basket, and comfortable shoes if you're coming by train. This beautiful experience is definitely worth it!
