โบราณสถานที่สำคัญในวัดตระพังทองหลาง ได้แก่ มณฑปก่อด้วยอิฐ เป็นอาคารในผังรูปสี่เหลี่ยมจัตุรัส ภายในประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูปขนาดใหญ่เต็มพื้นที่ ด้านทิศตะวันออกเป็นซุ้มประตู อีกสามด้านเป็นผนังที่ประดับด้วยปูนปั้นเป็นเรื่องตามพุทธประวัติ โดยที่ ผนังด้านเหนือ เป็นภาพตอนพระพุทธเจ้าทรงทรมานช้างนาฬาคีรี โดยปั้นรูปพระพุทธองค์ประทับยืนเคียงข้างซ้ายด้วยอัครสาวกคือ พระอานนท์ ที่ปลายพระบาทของพระพุทธเจ้าด้านขวามีร่องรอยให้ทราบว่าเป็นหัวเข่าช้าง ซึ่งคุกเข่ายอมแพ้พระพุทธเจ้า ผนังด้านใต้ เป็นภาพตอนพระพุทธเจ้าเสด็จลงจากสวรรคชั้นดาวดึงส์ ภายหลังเสด็จขึ้นไปโปรดพระพุทธมารดา โดยมีพระอินทร์ พระพรหม และเหล่าทวยเทพตามส่งเสด็จ ผนังด้านตะวันตก เป็นภาพตอนพระพุทธเจ้าโปรดเทศนาสั่งสอนพวกศากยวงศ์ที่เมืองกบิลพัสดุ์ ขณะทรงสั่งสอนทรงแสดงยมกปาฏิหาริย์ เป็นรูปรัศมีเปลวไฟล้อมรอบพระองค์ และมีรูปบรรดาพระญาติแวดล้อมอยู่ภายนอกรูปรัศมีนั้น บรรดาภาพปูนปั้นเหล่านี้แสดงถึงลักษณะศิลปะสุโขทัยที่เจริญสูงสุด หรือที่เรียกว่ายุคทองของศิลปะสุโขทัย ซึ่งอายุอยู่ในราวกลางพุทธศตวรรษที่ 20 Wat Traphang Thong Lang does not have a main chedi, but uses the mondop to act as a principal chedi which is one of the characteristics of Building a temple in Sukhothai. This mondop was made of brick in a square plan. The mandop is enshrined a large Buddha that fills the area. On the other three sides walls were decorated with stucco. It is a Buddha’ story as follows: the northern wall, It is a picture of the Lord Buddha tortured(not physically, just make Nala Khiri calmed down) an elephant Nala Khiri by sculpting a statue of the Buddha standing beside an apostle, Phra Anon, at the end of the Buddha's feet. The southern wall is a picture of the Buddha descending from the Tavatimsa heaven, the second heaven realm in buddhist belief. After he ascended to please the Buddha's mother, Buddha statue in Leela posture with Indra and Brahma and the gods following him. In the west, wall is a picture of the Buddha preaching and teaching the Sakyawong. at Kapilavastu while teaching, he performed the twin miracle which It was a halo of flames surrounding the Buddha and surrounding it with images of his relatives. At the outside the radius, these stucco images in Wat Traphang Thong Lang Represents the most prosperous Sukhothai art style, also known as the golden age of Sukhothai art. which is in the middle of the 20th Buddhist century.
