Fusia Resto. This is a traditional Indonesian food restaurant with modern ambience. Its specialty, Nasi Timbel, is satisfyingly delicious with reasonable price. It is perfect for family or company gathering scene. The service is also fast and pretty good. However it can be a bit loud during lunchtime due to many company lunches. Love Nasi Timbel Teri and Tahu Crispy. We can choose whether we want Nasi Timbel with chicken, duck or beef. Every table served free Sambal Bawang and Kremesan. When you placed order, just wait about 10-15 minutes, foods are coming. Kafe Bromo is Situated inside Surabaya Sheraton Hotel. Few years back I have visited this place often for business dinings. Food quality is still good now, except that variety has been reduced. I was here on a Saturday in Nov 2020 for lunch. I like to sit indoor but near the pool view. On sunny day its superb to sit and have a long buffet lunch here. Service is still good here. Buffet includes coffee. I have a few cups in my long long lunch. The Food Menu has many choices. The taste is nice, while the fruit and drink menu also good. For me, the best is their gudeg ( young jackfruit dish ) combined with pecel ( vegetables with peanut sauce ) and the ayam kalasan. But they also have delicious fried rice, nasi campur and also empal penyet. But if you go on weekend it's quite difficult to get there because of the traffic jam and also to find a parking space is not easy. But, still, it's worth the effort. Pricing also very reasonable if not in the cheap category. But don't judge the quality of the food by the price, it will fool you. Simply the best all-you-can-eat in Surabaya and a must try! Place and ambience are comfy. We ate close to 20 people and they gave us a private and spacious room. From main course with multiple cuisines (chinese, local, brazil, japanese to name a few) until dessert (ice cream, pancakes etc). Another highlight is the head chef is very friendly and professional. Even gave us some pao and onde2. The important thing is they have a lot of wonderful food. I was staying at the Bumi Surabaya City Resort, and tried the buffet here once, if you so choose to have a buffet, you would be treated to an Indonesian, Chinese, Western and Japanese menus all at once. In this huge restaurant you will find the Indonesian traditional market at night. You may truly find everything just like us at that night. We found a so many dishes from Takjil ( from many kind of fritters to kolak ), Indonesia traditional food, Chinese food, Japanese Food, seasonal fruits, a large varian of dessert including the Javanese traditional sweets up until coffee, tea and even my favorite tea tarik. It was my second visit to this restaurant with my family. We visited on Thursday and the place is not as crowded as it was on Saturday. So if you prefer quieter atmsophere, try to visit on weekdays. The Japanese station is very good and worth trying, so is the dessert station. This restaurant also offers Western, International, and Indonesian food. That time all the cutleries were clean and spotless -- probably due to the less crowded situation. Staffs were friendly but they need to be more attentive to all tables. We took tables on the corner and it took a while before the staff cleared our finished plates. It's like a safe place from a busy street outside. The interior is so homey, the quite slow pace really comfortable. Also the staffs are so polite and ever so helpful. We were quite fussy with our orders and they kindly help us with it. Thanks for that! We order latte, mocha, calamari, and cheesy potato. While I adore the potato, I personally think the coffee was just okay. From the food department, Libreria delivers delicious Asian and European meals, from starter to dessert. They also have a selection of remarkable books to enjoy with coffee, while relaxing music plays in the background. A lush and homey interior makes this a hard place to leave. Many choice of Indonesian food and beverage with various of vegetables, seafood and meat. I have tried semur lidah (ox tongue), nasi kuning (traditional yellow rice) and nasi timbel (traditional rice similar to nasi campur or mix rice). All food is delicious. The portion is not big but enough. Moderate price. There's something about their gurami pesmol that keeps on making us come back to this restaurant. Indragiri is definitely one of our favorite restaurants. Many choice of fruit juice beverage. The speciality of this restaurant is mutton soup, cooked with special herbs. I would like to admit that this place make a very good of concept in hang out, dining, coffee shop and shopping in one place. The ambiance is so cool!! Nice meal, nice coffee!! My eyes were spoiled by a good decor. They serve at 1st and 2nd floor. You may choose. Good place to have a chit chat with an old friend as you will never get bored for sure. I must say the place was really interesting because it was also my first time to see a cafe arranged like this. The dishes that they used reminded me of the old times (like my parents' old times). From so many indonesian fried duck i've tasted, i think this is the best based on taste and price. Also the size of duck piece is pretty big. Satisfy enough to hv a portion. Its very must try for fried duck lover. I have tastred their duck several times and it's delicious, this duck rank high on my liking along with SInjay and the one in Jalan Pahlawan. Crispy deep-fried Bebek (small kind of Duck) with the taste of marinated with local herbs. Very crispy & soft inside. Go very well with thick soy sauce. Very good service & clean. I saw Layar Seafood listed as the TOP 1 seafood restaurant in Surabaya and naturally I wanted to try it during my visit in Surabaya. I brought along my local Friend for a dinner at this restaurant. It was an excellent meal. The fish we ordered was fresh! My favourite was the squid in asam manis! Highly recommended, though pricing can be slightly steep but it’s a great place to celebrate occasions and have great tasting seafood. Most of the seafood are live, and you can hand pick them.
