Suzhou Chai Garden is a Chinese classical garden building built in the late Qing Dynasty. [GreenHeart] This place was originally the residence of Pan Zengqi during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. It was purchased by Chai Anpu of Shangyu, Zhejiang during the Guangxu period. After reconstruction and expansion, it was named "Chai Garden". Later, after the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, it was gradually dispersed and converted into residential areas. In the 1950s, the South District People's Government was stationed here. After 1957, it was used as a school. In 1978, the Chibei Building was demolished to build a three-story teaching building. In 1985, the Municipal Cultural Management Committee and the Civil Affairs Bureau jointly funded the repair of the Yuanyang Hall and the Ship Hall. In 1982, it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Suzhou City. It is now the Suzhou Education Museum. [BlueHeart] East house and west garden.
