The Enchanting Mudu Ancient Town

A while ago, I visited Mudu Ancient Town, a favorite destination of Emperor Qianlong and a popular filming location for many dramas, including "Forever and Ever." Free entry to the town made exploring easy, though some attractions required tickets: Yanjia Garden and Hongyin Shanfang (40 RMB each), and Gushong Garden (20 RMB). A combo ticket for 78 RMB included all paid attractions, and the Shuiyun Card was free. Hongyin Shanfang offered an imperial-level experience, combining the elegance of Jiangnan gardens with the grandeur of northern gardens. Yanjia Garden's delicate pavilions and stunning light effects were captivating, while Gushong Garden was perfect for photos with the 500-year-old Chinese juniper. The attractions closed early at 4:30 PM, so planning the visit early in the day was essential. The night show at Yanjia Garden provided better value. Mudu Ancient Town's enchanting charm and cultural beauty made it a memorable visit. I highly recommend exploring its unique allure.
