May 18, 2025, Sunday - A trip to Tongli Ancient Town. Take Metro Line 4 to the terminal station Tongli Station, then cross the street to board the Wujiang Autonomous Rail Transit T1 line. It's just one stop (less than 4km) to Tongli Ancient Town, taking about 10 minutes. This smart rail system looks like a bus with metro/light rail-style carriages, runs every 20 minutes, has limited seating, and is free. Tongli Ancient Town is quite impressive overall, with considerable size featuring classic "small bridges, flowing water, and households" scenery. Inside and around the town, there are three national heritage sites: Tuisi Garden, Gengle Hall, and Sibeng Bridge, plus many other attractions worth exploring. The ticket price is 100 yuan (80 yuan online), and on Trip.com you can use points to deduct 50 yuan, making it quite a good deal.
