Sydney Library

Today, I visited the State Library of New South Wales in Sydney, thanks to the May travel grant. The exterior of the library exudes grandeur with its classic columns and old stone building, giving off a 'preserved history' vibe. Once inside, it truly feels like a 'sanctuary of knowledge.' The interior is incredibly quiet, making you conscious of even your breathing, and the soft lighting helps with concentration. There are displays of old newspapers and ancient books, which make exploring quite enjoyable. The main hall's ceiling is particularly stunning, and I felt a strong urge to take photos. It's a great place to take a short break during your travels! Rather than just a place to read books, it feels more like a cultural space, which made the experience very satisfying. I noticed quite a few tourists as well. If you enjoy quiet and serene atmospheres, this place is a must-visit.
