Taipei Hotel | A trusted long-established hotel, Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel

📍Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel No. 12, Section 1, Zhongxiao E Rd, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, Taiwan 100 [A Marriott hotel that you can trust] I chose this hotel because, unlike other hotels in Taipei, I was traveling alone with my mother, who just turned 60, and she wanted a place with a certain level of service, facilities, and name value. There are several Marriott hotels in Taipei, but I chose Sheraton, which has a long history. The best thing about it was that ⭐︎Check-in was done in Japanese ⭐︎I was able to choose a twin bed in advance (When you're abroad, you often end up with a double) ⭐︎Just a 10-minute walk from Taipei Station ⭐︎The nearest station is Shandao Temple Station, which is right outside the exit ⭐︎The shower and other water facilities are clean ⭐︎The toilet has a washlet ⚠️Notes In recent years, hotels in Taipei City have completely eliminated amenities such as toothbrushes from a sustainable perspective, and the Sheraton was no exception and had none 🥲 I bought a toothbrush set at a nearby convenience store. If you're a Marriott Bonvoy platinum member, you might get some perks like breakfast, but I'm a gold member, so I only used the late check-out. My flight back home was around 4pm, so I was grateful to be able to stay at the hotel until 2pm 🥰 The restaurant in the hotel seems to be quite famous, and there were lines lined up before it opened. It might be good for people who want to enjoy Taiwanese and Chinese cuisine, not just street food. In Taiwan, breakfast is plentiful at food stalls, so we didn't include breakfast, but the super famous Fuhang Soy Milk was just a 10-minute walk away, so we lined up in the morning. The restaurant was crowded with customers and it was unsettling, so we took the food back to the hotel and ate it. They were happy to lend us spoons and other things. We took advantage of this and kept taking food from the food stalls and eating it in our room. It wasn't a particularly luxurious hotel, but it was a comfortable and relaxing place. My mother was also very satisfied. It's expensive for one person, and it's not a trendy style, so it's not the kind of place to hang out with friends, but it seems like it would be perfect for a family trip 🧑🧑🧒🧒. #TaipeiHotel
