Taipei Ximending ｜ Jinyuan Spare Ribs

"Jinyuan Spare Ribs" is located at B1 of Wannian Building in Ximending. In my opinion, it is one of the top three traditional spare ribs restaurants in Taipei. It has been open since 1973 and is still standing strong, which means it has its charm! The fried spareribs are simply coated with flour and fried, which retains the juiciness of the meat, is seasoned just right, and has no horrible pork smell at all; the fried chicken legs are rather mediocre, but I like this kind of food that is fried with a little bit of flour, as you can completely taste the ingredients themselves; I also highly recommend the fried tofu, which looks black and dry, but is incredibly tender in the middle. It is 100% delicious when drizzled with the store's garlic sauce, and the pickled cucumbers are the finishing touch, with no one left alive! Jinyuan Spare Ribs is not a big shop and is easily filled at any time. There are also many take-out customers, but no matter how busy it is, the boss still keeps an eagle eye on his finished products and will take them back immediately if he finds blood in the ribs. It is really a great spare ribs restaurant.
