Chihshang Brown Avenue｜Riding into the dreamland of rice fields

The most famous thing here is of course the "Takeshi Kaneshiro Tree" where Takeshi Kaneshiro filmed his commercials. Although the original tree was blown down by a typhoon, a new one has been planted now, which is just as impressive. Most homestays provide bicycles. You can ride slowly along the country roads and reach Brown Avenue in about 10 minutes. The weather was very good that day, with blue sky and white clouds, and sunshine shining on the ridges of the fields. I felt very happy looking at the entire green rice fields. ⸻ Surprise: Dachi Doupi Shop After riding Brown Avenue, my stomach was rumbling. I checked on Google and found a "Da Chi Tofu Skin Shop" with great reviews nearby, which was within walking distance. I decided to go there immediately! This tofu skin shop has a super local flavor and looks very simple But there were a lot of people, and everyone came here specifically to eat tofu skin and soy milk. I ordered iced soy milk + freshly fried bean curd skin, and the result was amazing. • The fried tofu buns are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They are not greasy and are super delicious even when eaten directly. • Iced soy milk and tofu pudding have a strong handmade soybean flavor😋 ⸻ Simple arrangement of transportation How to get to Chihshang Brown Avenue? • **Take the train: **Go to Chihshang Train Station. After exiting the station, you can rent a bicycle or electric car nearby. • **Driving: **You can arrive by entering "Mr. Brown Avenue" or "Chihshang Dapochi" in the navigation. There is a parking lot nearby. Dachi Tofu Skin Shop is about 1 kilometer away from Brown Avenue. You can ride a bike or walk there. It’s not far. ⸻ Tips: • Brown Avenue can be very sunny during the day, so it is recommended to go there early in the morning or in the evening for a more comfortable experience. •The Dachi tofu skin shop sells from morning to 1-2 pm, so be sure to go early if you want to eat it! • The whole rice field is more beautiful in May-June and October-November, highly recommended
