The foliage at Hananuki Gorge

#fallishere Autumn is always an exciting season with those burning red and orange foliages everywhere. At Ibaraki, there is this valley called Hananuki Gorge which is located deep in the forest at Takahagi area of Ibaraki prefecture. During autumn the valley will be filled with the colourful maple foliages. From the meeting point you can walk along the alley, with beautiful foliages along the pine trees, leading you to the main spot of pictureque site: the hanging bridge of the gorge, where many people will take a picture there. The entire place is very scenic, well guided so that you wont get lost anywhere, and the autumn vibes is just awesome as you wont expect too many tourista unlike some very famous spot. Direction: Take the Hitachi/Tokiwa limited express from Shinagawa/Tokyo station and alight at Takahagi station. There is a shuttle bus ferrying tourists from the station to the Gorge.
