The sight of the baby tying its small mawashi and climbing onto the ring was a heartwarming and special moment that made me feel the bond between family members. This traditional event is held to pray for the healthy growth of babies and good health, and I was able to pray for my child's growth while surrounded by the warm gazes of the local people. Combined with the solemn atmosphere of Renge-in Tanjo-ji Temple, it became an unforgettable memory.
